Generation three eased in the natural progression from leather to uppers and shoes. With background of serving Upper orders since 1972, the backing of Zaz Tannery leather, Zazman was founded in 1978. Zazman was infused with youth and the enthusiasm for the new, and was blessed by its buyers who to date continue to honor their association. Zazman was truly vertically integrated.

In the 1980s business was rapidly changing. The planet grew smaller and communications better. Companies wanted to buy directly from manufacturers, cutting delivery : cost and time in half. Logistics and just-in-time were the buzzwords of the time. Zazman entered England and serviced the market from the vantage point of a fully owned distribution in Leicester, backed with a manufacturing base in India. Finally, Zaz was now integrated from Raw Hides to store-delivered finished shoes.
